Job summary

FreeRecruit is seeking a Technical Revenue Accounting Manager (Cl7) for an onsite role with night shift in Quezon City. The focus is end-to-end revenue recognition under ASC 606, US GAAP, and leading close processes.

You will drive month-end and quarter-end closes, provide technical guidance on revenue policies, prepare reports, and oversee audits across cross-functional teams. Strong leadership and 8–10 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in Technical Revenue Accounting and Revenue Accounting
• Strong ASC 606 expertise
• At least 5 years of leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes for revenue, including journal entries and related estimates.
• Provide technical guidance on US GAAP, ASC 606, and revenue recognition for complex arrangements.
• Prepare, review, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports with flux analyses and insights.
• Oversee accounts receivable reconciliations and allowance for doubtful accounts.
• Act as primary contact for audits in high-risk revenue areas with timely documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize approvals and streamline processes.
• Design and refine scalable systems, dashboards, and controls for revenue accounting and reporting.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships and align with SLAs and business priorities.
• Support SOX compliance, internal controls, and regulatory standards.
• Lead performance reviews and contribute to PIPs for underperforming members.
• Recommend incentive programs and performance rewards.
