Placements24 is seeking a results-driven Retail Operations Manager to oversee and optimize store operations across Vereeniging, Gauteng. This senior role drives profitability through inventory control, staff productivity, loss prevention, and superb customer service.

You will lead budgeting, set operational standards, implement strategic initiatives, and ensure compliance with company policies across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in retail operations management.
• Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance store efficiency and profitability.
• Oversee inventory management processes, including stock control, ordering, and reduction of shrinkage.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Manage store budgets and control operational expenses effectively.
• Drive initiatives to improve customer service and overall shopping experience.
• Lead, train, and motivate store teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality.
• Oversee loss prevention strategies and implementation.
