Job summary

Eskom Holdings is seeking a Renewable Energy Engineer in Soweto to design, develop and implement solar, wind and hydroelectric projects. The role requires a strong engineering background and hands-on project delivery experience.

The successful candidate will lead feasibility studies, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure timely, compliant project execution. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5–10 years in renewables are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• 5–10 years of experience in renewable energy or related field.
• Strong knowledge of solar, wind and hydroelectric technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement renewable energy projects (solar, wind, hydro).
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for opportunities.
• Develop and manage project plans, budgets and schedules.
