Siemens Energy South Africa seeks a Renewable Energy Infrastructure Specialist to drive design and integration for large-scale solar and wind projects in Nelspruit. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure grid compliance and project success.

The role requires 5–7 years of relevant experience, a BSc in Electrical Engineering, and a mix of field and grid engineering responsibilities within a hybrid office/ site environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5–7 years of experience in large-scale power infrastructure or renewable energy projects.
• Strong understanding of grid interconnection and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and integration of renewable energy infrastructure into grids.
• Coordinate interconnections with local utilities and regulators.
• Oversee installation, testing and commissioning of high-voltage equipment.
• Perform load-flow and stability studies to optimize output.
• Prepare technical documentation and regulatory compliance reports.
