Job summary

Eskom seeks a Project Manager in Johannesburg to lead planning, execution and delivery of renewable energy projects. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and ensure on-time, within-scope delivery, while meeting Eskom governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Renewable Energy is required.
• Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are advantageous.
• 5+ years in renewable energy project management within large-scale programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets and risk registers.
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, procurement and legal.
• Monitor progress, address variances and implement corrective actions.
• Manage relationships with government, regulators and stakeholders.
• Ensure documentation complies with Eskom standards and SA regulations.
• Prepare status reports for senior management and sponsors.
• Oversee procurement, contract negotiations and vendor performance.
• Coordinate commissioning and handover to operations.
