Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a Senior Field Application Engineer to provide expert pre-sales and post-sales support for robotics and automation projects. The role is fully remote, serving clients across industries with strong technical demonstrations and design of tailored automation solutions.
You will work independently to analyze customer needs, design solutions, and support installation, commissioning and troubleshooting while staying aligned with sales to win proposals.
Qualifications
- Formal engineering degree or equivalent practical experience in robotics/automation.
- Strong background in industrial robots and automation systems.
- Proficient in PLC programming and control technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with customers.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers remotely or on-site as needed.
- Design and propose optimized robotics and automation solutions based on client requirements.
- Conduct demonstrations, both virtual and on-site, to showcase product capabilities.
- Assist with system integration, commissioning and troubleshooting of robotic systems.
- Collaborate with sales to develop winning technical proposals.
- Create technical documentation, notes and training materials.
