Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Pipeline Integrity Engineer for a fully remote role in the Oil & Gas sector. You will assess pipeline integrity, develop RBI-based inspection strategies, and ensure compliance with ASME B31.8 and API 1160.

The position requires 8+ years in pipeline integrity, a relevant engineering degree, and strong data analysis, reporting, and collaboration skills to safeguard assets and support safe energy transport.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil or Materials Science.
• 8+ years in pipeline integrity management in Oil & Gas.
• Strong RBI and FFS expertise; data analysis and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with ASME B31.8 and API 1160 standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement pipeline integrity management (PIM) programs.
• Conduct RBI analyses and data interpretation to identify threats.
• Plan and oversee in-line inspection (ILI) campaigns, tool selection and reporting.
• Evaluate corrosion rates, metal loss, and degradation mechanisms.
• Recommend repair strategies and operational guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with pipeline safety regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and regulatory teams.
• Prepare technical reports and justify integrity expenditures.
• Stay current with advances in pipeline integrity technologies.
