Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Remote Subsea Pipeline Engineer to oversee integrity management and flow assurance for offshore pipeline systems. The role emphasizes independent work from any location, collaborating with global teams to ensure safe, reliable hydrocarbon transport from subsea facilities to shore.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in subsea pipeline engineering, strong knowledge of OLGA, PIPESIM and ANSYS FEA, and a solid understanding of applicable industry codes and regulatory

Qualifications

• 7+ years in subsea pipeline engineering with integrity and flow assurance focus.
• Experience with OLGA, PIPESIM and FEA software.
• Knowledge of subsea regulatory frameworks and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop subsea pipeline integrity management plans.
• Conduct flow assurance studies to mitigate hydrates, wax, and slugging.
• Perform stress analyses, upheaval buckling checks, and fatigue life assessments.
• Ensure compliance with codes (DNV, API) and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including offshore and HSEQ.
• Manage risks and develop mitigation plans for subsea operations.
• Support pipeline design, installation, commissioning, and decommissioning.
• Evaluate new technologies for monitoring and integrity assurance.
• Prepare technical reports and management recommendations.
• Respond to operational challenges with technical support.
