Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Remote Supply Chain Planner focused on demand forecasting. You will leverage historical data, market trends, and promotions to produce precise forecasts and align cross-functional teams for optimal inventory and service levels in a fully remote setup.

Responsibilities include maintaining forecast accuracy, supporting S&OP, and driving supply planning with ERP/SCM tools. Requires 5+ years in planning and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Statistics, Economics or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in demand planning, supply chain planning, or forecasting roles.
• Proven expertise in statistical forecasting techniques and tools.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel, SQL, and planning software such as SAP APO, Kinaxis, Anaplan.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with remote collaboration capability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical models.
• Analyze historical data, market trends, and promotions to refine forecasts.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Operations to achieve forecast consensus.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and identify root causes of deviations.
• Translate forecasts into supply plans considering lead times and capacity.
• Optimize inventory to meet service levels while minimizing working capital.
• Participate in S&OP meetings and provide insights.
• Identify opportunities for supply chain improvements and cost reductions.
• Manage planning parameters within ERP/SCM systems.
• Prepare reports and presentations on forecasts and performance.
