Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Supply Chain Analyst for a fully remote role. You will optimize inventory, improve forecasting accuracy, and streamline logistics across the supply chain while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners.

The ideal candidate has a strong quantitative background, extensive experience in inventory management and S&OP, and proficiency with Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field required.
• At least 5 years in supply chain analysis, inventory, or logistics.
• Proficient in advanced Excel, SQL, and data visualization (Tableau/Power BI).
• Strong analytical, statistical modeling, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of inventory management and S&OP processes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, risks and optimization opportunities.
• Develop and implement inventory strategies to reduce costs and improve stock availability.
• Collaborate with demand planning and sales for S&OP improvements.
• Use planning software and analytics tools to forecast demand and optimize inventory across locations.
• Monitor KPIs and develop dashboards for reporting.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks related to lead times and supplier performance.
• Assist in evaluating supply chain tech and solutions.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for initiatives.
• Communicate findings to senior management and cross-functional teams.
