Job summary

Placements24 seeks a skilled Remote Supply Chain Specialist to optimize end-to-end operations from a flexible, remote setting. You will analyze data, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive improvements across inventory, lead times, and costs.

The role requires 5+ years in supply chain, a related degree, and strong ERP/SCM software experience; remote work requires self-motivation and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management or a similar role.
• Proven ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable strategies.
• Experience with supply chain planning software and ERP systems.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze end-to-end supply chain operations, identifying bottlenecks and recommending process improvements.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms and reliable supply.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and minimize costs.
• Monitor and report on key supply chain performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
• Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and sales teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of supply chain activities.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance supply chain efficiency and resilience.
