Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Supply Chain Analyst to join the manufacturing team. The role focuses on optimizing material flow, managing inventory levels, and improving delivery times through data-driven insights.

You will forecast demand with sales and production planning, monitor stock across warehouses, assess supplier performance, and design models to test improvements. Strong SQL/Excel/Power BI skills and ERP experience are essential for success in this remote position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Logistics/Business Admin or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis or logistics, preferably manufacturing.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI) and supply chain software.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, demand forecasting, and logistics principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Experience with ERP systems and their impact on supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for cost savings and performance improvement.
• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts with sales and production planning teams.
• Monitor inventory levels across warehouses and production sites, optimizing stock and reducing carrying costs.
• Evaluate supplier performance and collaborate with procurement for reliable, cost-effective sourcing.
• Design and implement supply chain models and simulations to test improvements and strategies.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations on supply chain performance, KPIs, and key initiatives for management.
