Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join our fully remote engineering division. You will design, implement, and optimize automated systems that drive efficiency and reliability across diverse industries, leveraging your expertise in control systems and industrial automation.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, 6+ years in industrial automation, and hands-on experience with PLCs (Siemens, Rockwell/AB), SCADA, and HMI development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in industrial automation and control system design.
• Proficiency with PLC platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Omron.
• Strong understanding of SCADA and HMI development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy automated control systems using PLCs, SCADA, and HMI software.
• Program, test, and commission automation solutions for industrial applications.
• Analyze processes and identify opportunities for automation to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide remote technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for automated systems.
