Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Senior Auditor to join the internal audit team on a fully remote basis. You will plan and perform financial, operational, and compliance audits across units, assess internal controls, and report to senior management and the audit committee.

You will work independently and collaborate virtually with teams nationwide, upholding governance, risk management, and control processes while supporting professional development and CPD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CA(SA), CIA, or CISA certification required.
• Minimum 6 years of auditing experience, preferably in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of COSO and IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and document audits per the annual plan.
• Assess design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
• Test financial transactions and processes for accuracy.
• Prepare clear audit reports with recommendations to management.
• Follow up on audit recommendations for timely remediation.
• Stay current with auditing standards and best practices.
