Job summary

Snatch | Accounting & Finance Headhunters is partnering with an international accounting firm to recruit an Audit Senior to work remotely from South Africa. You will deliver audits from planning through to completion, liaise with UK-based colleagues and clients, and take ownership of your assignments.

The role offers exposure to statutory accounts, tax and management accounting work, with a technology-forward approach using AI and data analytics to enhance audit quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) qualified, or completion of SAICA articles and board examinations.
• Experience in a public practice audit environment from planning to completion.
• Familiarity with UK auditing standards and UK GAAP is a plus.
• Proficient in using AI, data analytics and audit software to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver audit assignments from planning through completion with clear working papers.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and meet deadlines.
• Take ownership of assigned work and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Undertake non-audit work such as accounts preparation or tax as required.
• Leverage technology to enhance audit quality and efficiency.
