Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Remote Aircraft Performance Engineer to join its global team. The role focuses on analyzing and optimizing aircraft performance, fuel efficiency, and flight procedures from a remote location using advanced simulation tools and flight data.

You will work with flight operations, engineering, and maintenance teams, developing performance models, validating against test data, and presenting findings.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in aircraft performance engineering.
• Expertise in flight mechanics, aerodynamics, and propulsion systems.
• Proficiency with performance analysis software and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB).
• Strong understanding of flight data analysis and statistical methods.
• Excellent remote collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze aircraft performance data to identify efficiency improvements.
• Develop and validate performance models using simulation tools and flight data.
• Collaborate remotely with flight operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to implement improvements.
• Provide technical expertise on performance characteristics across climb, cruise, and descent.
