Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Aircraft Performance Analyst to join our client’s aviation team. This fully remote role focuses on analyzing and optimizing aircraft performance data to improve fuel efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance flight safety for airlines worldwide.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in aerospace engineering, 5+ years in aircraft performance analysis, and proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or R.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Aerospace/related field.
• 5+ years in aircraft performance analysis or similar.
• Strong understanding of aerodynamics and flight mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze FDR/CVR data to assess aircraft performance.
• Develop algorithms for predicting performance, fuel burn, and emissions.
• Create detailed performance reports and present findings to airline clients.
• Collaborate with flight operations teams to implement improvements.
• Monitor performance trends and identify optimization opportunities.
