Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Aircraft Electrical Engineer to join our client’s team in a remote capacity, with occasional travel to a facility near Mahikeng. You will design, develop, test, and integrate aircraft electrical systems, harnesses, and power distribution, ensuring compliance with MIL-STD ARINC and EMI/EMC requirements.

The role requires a strong background in electrical CAD (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN), simulations, and independent problem solving in a remote work setup,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in aircraft electrical system design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN and simulation tools.

Responsibilities

About the Role

You will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and integration of aircraft electrical systems and components. This role demands a deep understanding of electrical principles, power distribution, wiring harness design, and relevant aerospace standards. As a key member of the engineering department, you will contribute to innovative solutions that ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of our aircraft electrical infrastructure, leveraging the flexibility of a remote work setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems, including power generation, distribution, and control systems for aircraft.

Requirements
