Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled and independent Remote Electrical Systems Specialist to contribute to innovative projects from anywhere in South Africa. This role focuses on the design, analysis, and optimization of complex electrical systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and safety while collaborating remotely with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical systems design and engineering.
Strong expertise in power distribution, control systems, and embedded systems.
Proficiency with electrical design and simulation tools such as PSpice and MATLAB/Simulink.
Excellent remote communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Design and develop robust electrical systems for diverse applications.
Conduct in-depth electrical system analysis, including power quality, fault current, and reliability assessments.
Develop detailed specifications, schematics, and BOMs for system components.
Collaborate with remote hardware, software, and mechanical engineers.
