Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the daily activities of a fleet of Code 14 vehicles and their drivers.
• Develop and implement optimized delivery routes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Monitor driver performance, ensuring adherence to schedules, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Conduct regular driver assessments and provide coaching to improve performance and safety.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
• Ensure full compliance with all transportation regulations, licensing, and permits for heavy vehicles.
• Liaise with clients and internal departments to resolve delivery issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of fleet operations, including mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance logs, and driver hours.
• Respond to and manage emergency situations or unexpected delays effectively.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Train new drivers on company procedures, safety standards, and route specifics in the Rustenburg area.
• Act as the primary point of contact for drivers regarding operational and logistical queries.

Requirements

• Valid South African Code 14 driver's license.
• Valid Professional Driver's Permit (PDP).
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in professional driving, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or coordination role.

• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, logistics software, and route planning tools.
