About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and skilled Delivery Fleet Manager with a Code 10 driver's license to oversee their fleet operations in Rustenburg . This role requires a combination of driving proficiency and supervisory capabilities, ensuring the smooth execution of daily deliveries and the well-being of the driving team. You will be instrumental in managing a fleet of Code 10 vehicles , coordinating routes, and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency within the North West region. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, capable of managing both operational demands and team dynamics effectively, contributing to the overall success of our client's distribution network.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Code 10 vehicles for deliveries as needed, especially during peak periods or staff shortages.
• Manage and schedule daily delivery routes to optimize efficiency and meet customer demands.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and ensure all fleet vehicles are roadworthy and properly maintained.
• Supervise and train a team of drivers, fostering a culture of safety and professionalism.
• Monitor driver performance, providing feedback and addressing any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.

Requirements

• Valid South African Code 10 driver's license and PrDP.
• Proven experience in driving commercial vehicles, preferably Code 10 trucks.
• Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or fleet management role is advantageous.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to motivate and guide a team.
