About the Role

Our client, a dynamic Recruitment Consultancy operating out of Bloemfontein, Free State, ZA , is seeking a highly skilled Senior Recruitment Consultant specializing in the IT and Technology sector. This role is designed to be fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and placing top IT talent, including software developers, network engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and IT project managers, with a range of clients. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of the technology landscape, excellent sourcing capabilities, and a proven track record of success in IT recruitment. Key Responsibilities

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for IT and technology roles, from initial client engagement to candidate placement and onboarding. Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive IT candidates using various platforms and networks. Conduct in-depth technical screenings and competency-based interviews to assess candidate skills and experience. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the technology sector, understanding their specific talent needs. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and the competitive IT job market. Provide market insights and consultative advice to clients on recruitment strategies. Ensure a high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Collaborate effectively with remote colleagues and contribute to team success.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience, with a significant focus on IT and technology roles. Proven success in sourcing and placing candidates for technical positions such as software developers (various languages), system administrators, network engineers, data analysts, and cybersecurity professionals. Excellent understanding of IT terminology, platforms, and industry trends. Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various recruitment sourcing tools. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and thrive in a fully remote environment. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
