Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Real Estate Portfolio Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of assets centered in Bloemfontein, Free State, with a nationwide remote work setup. The role emphasizes strategic investment oversight, financial management, and maximizing asset value across a dispersed portfolio.

The candidate should have 8+ years in real estate portfolio/asset management, strong financial modeling skills, and a CFA designation is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate or related field.
• CFA designation is highly desirable.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in real estate portfolio management or related analysis.
• Proven track record in managing and optimizing real estate portfolios.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement portfolio-level investment strategies.
• Analyze market conditions and indicators affecting portfolio performance.
• Monitor financial performance of assets including revenue, expenses, and capex.
• Prepare portfolio performance reports for senior management and investors.
• Identify and execute asset management initiatives including leasing strategies and improvements.
• Manage relationships with property managers and service providers.
• Conduct regular virtual property inspections and reviews.
• Manage portfolio risk including market, credit, and operational risk.
• Stay updated on real estate investment trends in SA context.
