Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Real Estate Portfolio Manager in Midrand, Gauteng. The role focuses on overseeing a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties, driving value, and aligning real estate strategies with business goals.

The ideal candidate brings 7–10 years in real estate asset or portfolio management, strong financial modeling and market insight, and proven leadership capabilities to guide a high-performance team.

Qualifications

7-10 years of progressive experience in real estate asset or portfolio management.
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration or related field; MRICS is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement portfolio management strategies to maximize asset value and profitability.
Conduct market research and financial analysis to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
Oversee property operations: leasing, tenant relations, maintenance, capital improvements.
Prepare financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and performance analyses for management and owners.
Manage relationships with brokers, vendors, and service providers.
Ensure compliance with property laws and contractual obligations.
Lead and mentor a team of property management professionals.
Negotiate lease agreements and service contracts.
Conduct property inspections and site visits to assess condition and identify enhancements.
