About the Role

Our client, a dynamic real estate development company, is seeking a seasoned and visionary Senior Real Estate Development Manager to join their team. This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to manage projects and collaborate with teams from anywhere. The ideal candidate will lead the entire development lifecycle of real estate projects, from initial concept and feasibility studies through to design, construction, and final handover. You will be responsible for strategic planning, financial oversight, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of urban planning, construction management, and real estate finance, coupled with strong leadership and project management skills. The ability to drive complex projects to successful completion in a remote-first environment is key to this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of real estate development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies, market analysis, and site evaluations for potential development opportunities.
• Manage the acquisition process, including negotiation of purchase agreements and due diligence.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants throughout the design and construction process.
• Develop and manage project budgets, financial forecasts, and funding arrangements.
• Secure necessary permits, zoning approvals, and entitlements from relevant authorities.
• Oversee construction activities, monitor progress, and address any issues that arise.
• Develop and implement effective risk management strategies for all projects.
• Liaise with investors, lenders, and other stakeholders, providing regular project updates.
• Ensure all projects adhere to company standards, local regulations, and sustainability principles.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Development, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in real estate development project management.
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale mixed-use, residential, or commercial development projects.
• Strong understanding of development processes, construction methods, zoning laws, and financing structures.
• Exceptional project management, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and financial modeling tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and manage multiple projects concurrently in a remote setting.
• A proven track record of delivering successful real estate development projects.
