Placements24 is seeking a visionary Real Estate Development Manager to lead ambitious projects in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. You will oversee the full lifecycle from concept and feasibility through to delivery, sale or lease, with a focus on securing land and approvals.

The role requires 7–10 years in real estate development, strong project management, and ability to manage budgets, teams, and stakeholders across the region. A results-driven leader will thrive in this expanding property group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Property Development, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in real estate development with a strong focus on project management.
• Demonstrated experience managing development projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and secure new real estate development opportunities.
• Conduct feasibility studies, market analysis, and financial modeling for potential projects.
• Manage the acquisition of land and secure all necessary planning permissions and regulatory approvals.
• Oversee the design and planning phases of development projects, working with architects and engineers.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Appoint and manage contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
• Oversee the construction process, ensuring quality control and adherence to specifications.
• Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies for completed developments.
• Maintain strong relationships with local authorities, investors, and community stakeholders.
