The role demands strong negotiation, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with production and finance. A minimum of five years in procurement, plus a relevant degree and SAP proficiency, are essential.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years as Buyer or Procurement Specialist focused on raw materials.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in SCM, Commerce or Economics.
Experience negotiating complex contracts and managing supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

Source high-quality raw materials domestically and internationally.
Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for cost-effectiveness and supply security.
Negotiate contracts, pricing and terms with suppliers.
Monitor global commodity markets and risk factors affecting pricing.
Manage supplier relationships and conduct performance reviews.
Collaborate with production, planning and finance to forecast material needs.
Maintain meticulous procurement records and ensure regulatory compliance.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
