Placements24 in Nelspruit is seeking an experienced Buyer specializing in Raw Materials to secure cost-effective supply for manufacturing operations. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor markets to optimize value and risk.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, at least four years' buying experience with raw materials, and strong ERP/MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Buyer focusing on raw materials.
• Proven negotiation skills in supplier contracts.
• Knowledge of raw material markets and procurement best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure raw materials per quality specs and production schedules.
