Job summary

Jobs 4 All requires a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial management of building projects in Johannesburg and Pretoria. You will oversee tendering, cost control, procurement, valuations and final accounts, ensuring commercial viability and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has circa 10 years of hands-on QS experience in the building sector, with exposure to main contractor environments and strong IT skills (CCS EJM/BuildSmart).

Qualifications

• BTech in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.
• Approximately 10 years of QS experience in building construction.
• Strong experience across commercial, residential and industrial developments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tendering, subcontractor procurement and commercial assessments.
• Perform full QS function from start to completion, with cost reporting and final accounts.
• Manage interim payment applications, valuations and payments.
• Monitor budgets, cost forecasts and cash flow; maintain commercial records.
