Job summary

RPO Recruitment’s client, a contractor operating nationwide, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for large building projects in KwaZulu-Natal, including retail, commercial and residential developments. The role requires a BTech or BSc in Quantity Surveying and a minimum of 10 years in construction.

You will handle cost planning, tendering, and contract documentation across JBCC, NEC and GCC frameworks, bring CCS experience, and lead value and risk management to align budgets with project

Qualifications

• BTech Quantity Surveying or BSc Quantity Surveying or similar.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction/building.
• Contractual Aptitude – Understanding Principal and Subcontract Agreements, JBCC, NEC, GCC.

Requirements

• BTech Quantity Surveying / B.Sc Quantity Surveying or similar
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction / building
• Contractual Aptidue – Understanding Principal and Subcontract Agreements, JBCC, NEC, GCC.
• Proven experience with JBCC contracts
• Proven CCS experience
• Cost planning
• Estimating / prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
• Cost Analysis
• Cost-in-use studies
• Value Management to establish a project budget / Risk management
