The ideal candidate has extensive quality management experience in manufacturing, strong regulatory knowledge, and exceptional leadership to guide the quality team and collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 7+ years of progressive quality control/QA management in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and possibly IATF 16949.
• Experience with CAPA processes and root cause analysis.
• Strong SPC and quality tools understanding.
• Leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Sandton, Gauteng area.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QMS across the organization.
• Oversee all quality control activities including inspection, testing, and auditing.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IATF standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and mentor the quality control team.
• Analyze data, identify trends, and implement CAPA actions.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and R&D to embed quality.
• Manage customer feedback and resolve quality-related complaints.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits.
• Develop and deliver quality training for staff.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce defects and elevate product quality.
