Job summary

Placements24 has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Specialist at our pharmaceutical manufacturing partner in Rustenburg. The role focuses on upholding quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across products.

You will develop and maintain the QMS, conduct audits, investigate deviations, and drive CAPA. The ideal candidate has GMP experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication to support patient safety in the North West province.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, or related science.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in QA/QC in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Strong GMP knowledge and regulatory guidelines (FDA/EMA).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in documentation review and auditing techniques.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS in line with GMP and regs.
• Conduct internal and external audits of processes, facilities, and docs.
• Investigate deviations and OOS, implement CAPA.
• Review and approve batch records, validation protocols, and docs.
• Monitor quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Provide training on quality standards, GMP, and procedures.
