Qualifications

About the Role

Our client, a prominent player in the chemical manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and enhance their quality management systems. This critical on-site role based in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, is responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance. You will lead a team of QA professionals, implement robust quality control processes, conduct internal audits, and collaborate closely with production and R&D departments to drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation.
• Oversee all quality control activities, including incoming material inspection, in-process testing, and final product release.
• Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate product non-conformances, customer complaints, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Collaborate with R&D and production teams to ensure new products meet quality specifications.
• Manage external quality audits and maintain necessary certifications (e.g., ISO 9001).

Requirements
