Qualifications

• 5+ years of claims adjusting experience, especially in property insurance.
• Knowledge of insurance contracts and claims investigation techniques.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with claims management software and standard office applications.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Northern Cape.
• Professional certifications in insurance adjusting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate settlements for complex claims.
• Conduct on-site assessments and determine extent of loss and coverage.
• Review documents such as police reports and repair estimates.
• Interview claimants and witnesses to gather information.
• Interpret policies to determine coverage and liability.
• Provide guidance to junior adjusters and maintain files.
