Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead ambitious urban redevelopment initiatives in Vereeniging, Gauteng. The role focuses on planning, execution, and delivery of multi-use developments across residential, commercial, and public spaces.

The ideal candidate has 9+ years in project management with urban redevelopment or large construction experience, strong stakeholder engagement, and proficiency in MS Project/Primavera and GIS tools. PMP is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Real Estate Development, or a related field.
• A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in project management, with significant focus on urban redevelopment or large-scale construction projects.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of urban planning principles, zoning laws, and development regulations in Gauteng.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence diverse groups.
• Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera) and GIS tools.
• Experience in financial modeling, budget control, and securing project financing.
• Ability to navigate complex political and community landscapes.
• PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
