About the Role

Our client, a leading developer and operator of energy infrastructure projects, is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead significant initiatives in the Mossel Bay, Western Cape area. This role is pivotal in driving the successful execution of complex energy projects, from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing large-scale energy infrastructure development, including strong leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management skills. You will be responsible for overseeing all project phases, managing cross-functional teams, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements. Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years focused on large-scale energy infrastructure projects (e.g., power plants, transmission lines, renewable energy installations).
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in risk management, contract negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Understanding of the energy sector in South Africa, particularly in the Mossel Bay, Western Cape region.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
