Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead energy infrastructure projects in the Pretoria region. You will oversee planning, design, and execution of power generation, transmission, and distribution initiatives, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Pr. Eng registration (preferred), and at least 7 years’ project engineering experience in the energy sector, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Pr. Eng registration with ECSA is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in project engineering within the energy sector.
• Proven track record of managing medium to large-scale energy infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of power systems, transmission, and distribution networks.
• Proficiency in project management software and engineering design tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
