Job summary

Siemens Smart Infrastructure in Midrand, South Africa, seeks a Project Manager to lead the design, development and execution of customer projects in line with PM@Siemens standards.

You will coordinate planning, manage resources, monitor budgets, and maintain clear communication with customers and stakeholders across sub-Saharan Africa, ensuring alignment with safety, quality and compliance expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of NEC3 experience.
• 5-8 years in electrical engineering sector, preferably MV or renewables.
• 5-8 years in project management with full P&L responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers on technical solutions, with Sales/Key Account Manager.
• Prepare participation in tender and lead negotiations with customers.
• Coordinate overall project planning and resource allocation with stakeholders.
• Clarify specifications and ensure clear KPIs across the team.
• Monitor milestones and budgets; initiate actions to minimize costs.
• Maintain communication with customers and other stakeholders; circulate minutes.
• Adhere to PM standards and safety guidelines; manage project staff.
