About the Role

Our client, a leading innovator in their field, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead critical digital transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, encompassing scope, timelines, resources, and budgets for digital transformation projects.
• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability across diverse functional areas.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring clear and consistent communication regarding project status, risks, and milestones.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively, developing contingency plans as needed.
• Oversee the procurement and implementation of new technologies and software solutions.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Ensure all projects align with the company's strategic goals and quality standards.
• Facilitate remote team meetings and workshops effectively, utilizing collaboration tools to their full potential.

Requirements

• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale digital transformation projects, preferably in a remote setting.
• Extensive experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate diverse teams.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working within the South African market is advantageous.
