Job summary

Scytale is seeking a Senior Product Manager in Cape Town to own the Core product area end-to-end, including strategy, roadmap, and execution. You will translate customer needs and business goals into clear features and a prioritized roadmap while collaborating with engineers and designers to deliver high-impact features.

You will lead the product backlog, participate in agile ceremonies, and coordinate releases with cross-functional teams, shaping an intuitive user experience and gaining domain

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of PM experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Ability to translate ambiguous problems into clear strategy and prioritized execution.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to influence stakeholders and align cross-functional teams around a product vision.
• A passion for technology, UX, and solving user problems through great software.
• Experience with AI-powered products or features is a plus.
• A curious, proactive mindset with the ability to learn fast and adapt in a dynamic startup environment.
• Experience with cybersecurity, compliance, or risk management space is an advantage.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a highly motivated and curious Senior Product Manager to join our CPT team and help shape the future of our product. In this role, you’ll work closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional stakeholders to build and launch features that deliver real value to our customers.

This is a hands‑on, growth-oriented role where you’ll take ownership of defined product areas and gain exposure across the full product development lifecycle in a fast-growing B2B SaaS environment.

What You Bring

• 4-5 years of experience as a Product Manager in a B2B SaaS environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and align cross-functional teams around a product vision.

• Experience working with AI-powered products or features - Advantage.
• A curious, proactive mindset with the ability to learn fast and adapt in a dynamic startup environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with web-based products in the cybersecurity, compliance, or risk management space - an advantage.

What You’ll Do

• Own the Core product area end-to-end - strategy, roadmap, and execution.
• Translate customer needs and business goals into clear features and prioritized roadmap.
• Work closely with engineers and designers to define product requirements, write user stories and drive delivery of high-impact features.
• Lead the product backlog, balancing strategic bets against near-term delivery and customer commitments.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives, and stand‑ups.
• Own the full release lifecycle, coordinating closely with design, engineering, CS, marketing, and sales.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to uncover customer pain points and identify product opportunities.
• Shape an intuitive, high-impact user experience in close partnership with design.
• Develop domain knowledge in information security compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and more).
• Track product KPIs, monitor success metrics, and support feature adoption and go-to-market efforts.
