Job summary

Scytale is seeking an IT Audit Advisor to work with clients on their IT audit processes while leveraging our automated GRC Platform. You will manage client relationships, guide them in using Scytale’s technology, and lead Scytale’s IT-audit hybrid advisory operations.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in technology risk or similar roles in security/compliance.
• Experience managing compliance projects and audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Background in IT audit including ITGC and SOX for US-listed companies.
• Strong familiarity with PCAOB standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional IT audit advisory services including ITGC and SOX for US-listed companies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients during their compliance journey.
• Establish long-term client relationships by ensuring compliance needs are met.
• Provide hands-on support throughout the compliance journey.
• Coordinate activities across multiple teams and integration points.
• Drive product improvements by incorporating market feedback and client needs.
• Clearly articulate security compliance concepts and Scytale’s value to clients.
• Write and present well-structured documentation and processes.

Role Overview

We are looking for an IT Audit Advisor to work with our customers on their IT audit process while leveraging our automated GRC Platform. The role will include managing our clients and accompanying them in utilizing and leveraging Scytale’s technology and taking responsibility for Scytales IT-audit hybrid advisory operation. Scytale’s ITGC specialists shall be a source of ITGC knowledge and will influence the development of our product.

What You Bring

• At least 2 years in Technology Risk, Security Compliance, GRC, CISO, or a similar position.
• Extensive experience managing compliance projects and audits (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Background in IT audit, including ITGC and SOX compliance for US-listed companies.
• Deep understanding of PCAOB standards.
• Familiarity with enterprise applications, including ERP, CRM, and GRC systems.
• Proficiency in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines using tech tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong self-starter with a solution-focused and positive attitude.
• Leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Law, Accounting, or Business.
• Information Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSK, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer (an advantage).
• Certified Public Accountant (an advantage).
