The role requires expertise in PSM, HAZOP, and incident investigations, with a focus on safeguarding personnel and assets while delivering continuous improvement in process safety performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in process safety within chemical or energy sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of PSM elements: PHA, MOC, PSSR, and mechanical integrity.
• Experience with risk assessment methodologies and safety software.
• Strong understanding of relevant safety regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage Process Safety Management (PSM) programs.
• Conduct Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Investigate process safety incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Develop and deliver process safety training to employees and contractors.
• Maintain safety documentation including procedures, risk registers, and incident reports.
