Placements24 is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for a fully remote, permanent role. You will optimize complex manufacturing processes, lead virtual improvement initiatives, and ensure safety and quality standards.

Strong collaboration with cross‑functional teams is essential in a remote setting. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in process engineering within manufacturing, Lean/Six Sigma expertise, and proficiency with process simulation tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• A Master's degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and refine advanced manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
• Conduct detailed analyses of existing production lines, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Design and test new process methodologies, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with R&D, quality assurance, and production teams to integrate new technologies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Monitor KPIs for production processes and report on performance trends.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and operational staff.
• Ensure all processes comply with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
• Lead and participate in virtual process improvement initiatives and project teams.
• Troubleshoot complex process issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
