Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required. Master’s preferred for advanced roles.
• 7+ years of experience in process engineering in Oil & Gas or petrochemical sectors.
• Experience with process simulation, thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
• Knowledge of HAZOP studies and safety management systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize chemical processes to improve yield and reduce waste.
• Develop and implement process control strategies for product quality and stability.
• Conduct PHAs and implement safety recommendations.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and operators.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations to resolve equipment issues promptly.
• Lead projects for process upgrades and new technology integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize chemical processes to improve yield, reduce waste, and minimize operational costs.

• Conduct Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) and implement recommendations to enhance safety and compliance.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and plant operators.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in process engineering within the Oil & Gas or petrochemical sector .
• Proven track record in process simulation, thermodynamics , and fluid dynamics.
• Experience with HAZOP studies and safety management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
