About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Process Engineer with expertise in petrochemicals to join their innovative team in Centurion . This role is integral to the design, development, and optimization of chemical processes, focusing on enhancing efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance. You will play a key part in process troubleshooting, debottlenecking, and implementing new technologies to improve plant performance. Key Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and optimize chemical processes for petrochemical production, ensuring efficiency and safety.
• Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Conduct process simulations and troubleshooting to resolve operational issues.
• Implement process improvements and modifications to enhance yield and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Provide technical support for plant operations, HAZOP studies, and process safety management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience as a Process Engineer in the petrochemical or refining industry.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and P&ID development.
• Strong understanding of unit operations, thermodynamics, and mass transfer.
