JVR Software in Tshwane invites a Senior Process Engineer to lead design and execution of complex process projects in mining and related industries. You will mentor engineers, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and deliver cost-effective solutions.

Required: BEng/BSc in Chemical Engineering, 8+ years in process plant design, strong mass/energy balance, PFDs/P&IDs, and process safety experience. International projects may be involved.

Formación

• BEng/BSc in Chemical Engineering from a recognised institution.
• 8+ years of relevant process engineering experience in multidisciplinary or EPCM environments.
• Proven experience in process plant design in mining, metallurgical, chemical, gas cleaning or related sectors.
• Strong technical expertise in mass and energy balances, process modelling and equipment sizing.
• Experience with PFDs, P&IDs, process specifications and engineering documentation.
• Exposure to HAZOP studies, process safety and plant commissioning.

Responsabilidades

• Lead process engineering design activities across feasibility, detailed design and project execution phases.
• Develop and review mass and energy balances, process simulations and equipment sizing calculations.
• Oversee preparation of BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications and process design documentation.
• Develop process design philosophies, operating philosophies and technical reports.
• Lead or contribute to HAZOPs, SIL assessments and safety studies.
• Coordinate deliverables across multidisciplinary project teams.
• Provide guidance during equipment procurement, construction, commissioning and testing.
• Identify process improvements and opportunities for optimisation.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers.
• Ensure designs meet standards, safety requirements and project specs.
