Job summary

iOCO Limited is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join its Technology team on a 6-month contract in Cape Town, blending business, data, and technology to improve investment systems and reporting.

You will own end-to-end delivery, work with investment professionals and IT teams, and define solutions rather than just gather requirements.

The role demands 7+ years of BA experience, private credit know-how, strong stakeholder influence, and advanced Excel + Power BI skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Business Analysis across the full project lifecycle.
• Private Credit experience is mandatory.
• Experience working directly with senior stakeholders and independently driving workstreams.
• Strong requirements gathering, process analysis, documentation, and testing experience.
• Solid data analysis, reporting, and business process improvement experience.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Financial Services, Investments, Asset Management, or Credit Investment experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business challenges and define practical, measurable solutions.
• Elicit, document, and validate business requirements across multiple stakeholders.
• Produce high-quality user stories, process flows, BRDs, and test scenarios.
• Support data mapping, integration, validation, and reporting initiatives.
• Drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and delivery readiness.
• Work closely with technical teams to assess solution options, risks, dependencies, and business impact.
• Build and maintain reporting and analytical dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Excel.
• Manage delivery milestones, proactively identifying risks and driving resolutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to both business and technology stakeholders.
