iOCO announces four Senior Business Analysts to drive strategic technology and business transformation initiatives from concept through implementation. You will own workstreams, engage with senior stakeholders, and steer delivery in a hybrid Cape Town setting.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in business analysis, strong requirements gathering, process analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management, with familiarity in financial services and tools like Power BI, Excel, and SQL.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience as a Business Analyst across the full project lifecycle.
• Experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Ability to independently manage workstreams and deliver outcomes.
• Strong requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation skills.
• Experience engaging directly with senior business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience in at least one of: Liquid Credit, Business Operations, Private Credit, Insurance.
• Experience in Financial Services, Asset Management, Investments, Banking, or Insurance.
• Proficient in SQL, Power BI, and Excel.
• Familiar with APIs, ETL processes, and data integration initiatives.
• Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, DealCloud, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Mentoring or supporting junior team members.

Responsabilités

• Manage delivery milestones and remove blockers.

We are seeking four Senior Business Analysts who will play a pivotal role in delivering strategic technology and business transformation initiatives.

This is an opportunity to join a high-performing team where Business Analysts are trusted to take full ownership of their workstreams, engage directly with senior stakeholders, and drive projects from concept through to implementation. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work closely with business leaders, investment teams, technology partners, and data specialists to identify opportunities, define solutions, and ensure successful delivery of business-critical initiatives.

This is far more than a requirements-gathering role. You'll be expected to analyse complex business challenges, challenge assumptions, shape solutions, and actively drive delivery through to production.

What you'll do:

• Analyse business problems and define clear, measurable outcomes.
• Gather, document, and validate business requirements.
• Produce high-quality process flows, BRDs, user stories, and test documentation.
• Facilitate workshops and engage with senior stakeholders across the business.
• Evaluate solution options, risks, dependencies, and business impact.
• Support data mapping, integration, transformation, and validation activities.
• Lead UAT planning, execution, and defect management.
• Build and maintain reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Excel.
• Manage delivery milestones and proactively identify and resolve blockers.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and maintain project artefacts within Jira and related tools.

Your Expertise:

• 7+ years' experience as a Business Analyst across the full project lifecycle.
• Experience working within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage workstreams and deliver outcomes.
• Strong requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation skills.
• Experience engaging directly with senior business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates should have proven experience in at least one of the following areas:
  • Liquid Credit
  • Business Operations
  • Private Credit
  • Insurance
• Financial Services, Asset Management, Investments, Banking, or Insurance environments.
• SQL, Power BI, and Excel.
• APIs, ETL processes, and data integration initiatives.
• Jira, ServiceNow, DealCloud, or similar platforms.
• Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Mentoring or supporting junior team members.
