Job summary

Salt Digital Recruitment seeks a Senior Business Analyst to lead end-to-end requirements for a multi-region technology integration programme in Cape Town, hybrid. You will bridge business, technology and delivery teams, ensuring compliant, auditable processes.

You will analyse current and target states, map data models, and support testing and controls aligned with governance and GDPR requirements. Strong stakeholder management across regions is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business analysis experience across technology-led change initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end requirements definition and documentation across business and technical workstreams
• Conduct current-state and target end-state process analysis—identifying gaps, optimisation opportunities, and control weaknesses
• Translate business, compliance, and security needs into functional and technical specifications
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and vendors to validate solution designs against business and compliance requirements
• Define and document user journeys, workflows, and data models to support process and system design
• Perform data reconciliation across systems and sources to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of migrated data
• Support testing and validation including functional testing, UAT, and controls verification aligned with internal audit and risk frameworks
• Ensure solutions, pilot activities, and data handling align with IT governance, information security policy, and GDPR obligations
• Provide process, stakeholder, and impact analysis to support the Change Manager
• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders, technical SMEs, and delivery teams to elicit and validate requirements
• Capture lessons learned and define exit criteria to support transition from pilot to broader rollout

Senior Business Analyst | Full-Time Contract | Cape Town (Hybrid)

A high-profile technology integration programme within a global organisation is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to lead analysis across a complex, multi-region initiative. The focus is on core platform integration (M365) and broader migration activities - spanning governance, compliance, data reconciliation, and business process redesign. This is a visible, senior role that requires someone who can operate independently across business, technology, and delivery teams without hand-holding. You'll be the bridge between stakeholders at all levels and across multiple regions, ensuring requirements are defined, solutions are fit for purpose, and processes remain auditable and compliant. Requirements

• 5+ years of business analysis experience across technology-led change initiatives
• Strong governance, risk, and control framework knowledge
• Experience with system integrations and identity and access management (IAM) governance - required
• Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders across multiple regions and drive alignment under competing priorities
• Strong data reconciliation and process mapping capability
• Comfortable working in Agile and hybrid delivery frameworks
• Working knowledge of IAM and directory technologies (AD, Azure AD, SSO, MFA) advantageous
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent CBAP or CCBA certification advantageous
• Ideal Background Experience on complex business integrations or mergers across multiple jurisdictions
• Track record in large, complex corporate environments where governance and audit standards are non-negotiable
• Knowledge of GDPR and relevant regulatory compliance frameworks
