Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the execution of large power infrastructure projects from our Pretoria office. You will oversee initiation through closure, drive on-time delivery within budget, and manage diverse stakeholder relationships.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in project management within power generation or transmission, a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, and PMP certification is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• PMP certification is highly desirable.
• 10+ years of progressive project management experience in power sector.
• Experience delivering multi-million ZAR projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle of power projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Develop detailed plans and define scope with stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional teams and maintain effective communication.
• Manage contracts and vendor relationships to meet deliverables.
• Monitor progress against milestones and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental standards, and company policies.
